Make Every Enquiry Count
summary
Your contact form is where a visitor becomes a client. A simple routine that makes sure every enquiry reaches you, every time.

A contact form is where a visitor becomes a client. It is the most valuable few centimetres on any business website, and it deserves the same care as the homepage.
A form looks simple from the outside: a few fields and a button. Behind it sits a small chain: the form plugin, the mail service, spam protection, and sometimes a CRM or an SMS alert. When every link in that chain is set up well, every enquiry arrives within seconds.
That reliability is something I build into every site I work on.
How I Set Up a Form
Email goes out through a proper mail service with SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place, so messages land in the inbox. Every submission is also stored on the server as a backup, and the visitor sees a clear confirmation and gets one by email.
How I Test It
I send a real, clearly labelled test and follow it all the way: the saved entry, the email, the SMS or CRM step. Then I put every setting back exactly as it was and remove the test.
Test after every plugin or hosting update.
Check the spam folder too, because delivered and seen are two different things.
Keep a copy of every submission on the server.
A Small Habit With a Big Payoff
Ten minutes of testing a month is all it takes to know every enquiry reaches you. It is the simplest way to protect the work your website does every day.
